(More)…]]> Phew! What a roller coaster the last two weeks have been.

Last week I was In the beautiful, snowy Quebec City for Cartoon Connection. Some nice Xmasy pics below!  http://www.cartoon-media.eu/CONNECT/con_gallery.php?id=11 I just arrived as the snow storm hit the city. After Quebec City  I went on a whirl wind trip of Toronto. While in Toronto I caught up with some old friends and made some new ones, I also got the chance to visit Sheridan College, I can honestly say I was blown away by the standard of the students work. Really amazing, and inspiring to know the future of animation is in safe hands, it was very cool seeing what the next generation of artist/animators are up to. Looking forward be back in Toronto again in the new year!

(More)…]]> Last week JAM picked up our first Bafta award for our CBBC show Roy. Here is a pic of John, Al and Mark with the awards! Big huge congrats to the whole Roy crew, well deserved gang :) At the moment life is one big schedule. My first five months in JAM Media have been a blast, and I am loving every crazy minute of it. We have an exciting development slate on the boil, with some very cool new shows we are getting ready to take to market next year. At the moment Mark and I are planning our trip to Quebec City for Cartoon Connection. http://www.cartoon-media.eu/CONNECT/con_index.php?id=11 here we will meet with lots of cool Canadian animation studio’s and North American broadcasters. I leave Quebec then fly to Toronto have a day of meetings, and head over to Sheridan College to meet some amazing new animation talent.

New sketchbook, rough sketch! I took a trip to the seaside and sketched this old guy, when I got home I did it again using Copics. I was listening to this song while I was doing it. The character in Barney McKenna’s voice is amazing and really helped with the final look.
